Hello
I’m Ben, a Canadian who has now been in the Netherlands for over 20 years. Before arriving in the lowlands, I had lived in many places and worked at many different jobs. No matter where I went, I took my love of RPGs with me, and now I combine my years of experience in the game with what I’ve learned in my travels to enrich the way I run RPGs.
My approach to running RPGs is to keep them accessible and inviting to those who might be new to the hobby, while still presenting challenges that are interesting and fun for both new and experienced players. I love to be a fan of the characters, and to give the players every opportunity to show off their creativity leads their characters to accomplish awesome things.
In my years in the hobby, I have played with many types of people. What is most important in a good RPG session is that everyone is relaxed and has fun, so I am a proponent of having conversations before the game begins to ensure that everyone is on the same page about social behaviour at the table. My goal is for everyone present to be comfortable and having a good time.
